Connect with Andrews and you will find a place where…
Cooperative Learning
Learning is cooperative, not competitive, meaning that our students are not in competition with each other for grades or ranking. Instead, they are encouraged to be supportive and help each other. We believe this not only reflects our Christian philosophy, but also is more representative of clinical expectations after graduation.
Support
You have a support system made up of peers, faculty and staff who care about each other. Here you’ll connect with people who want you to succeed. It’s good to know that while you are investing considerable time, energy and money into your professional education you’ll have a support system backing you up.
Christian Approach to Health Care
There’s a Christian approach to healthcare education, with our goal being to integrate science and the love of God into a highly sought, service-oriented profession. Everything we do is integrated with our mission of “uniting Christianity with healthcare.” Students are encouraged to practice integrity and concern for one another, and the delivery of considerate, attentive treatment of all people is promoted.
Family Environment
We connect with each other inside and outside the classroom. This means that even after class we hang out and have fun together. Our students come together for social events, study groups, worship activities and other gatherings all the time. We are more like a family than a student body—small, caring and dependable.
Qualified and Dedicated Faculty
The faculty are a cut above because, after all, they are a university’s richest resource. Ours is a qualified, dedicated faculty, committed to providing superior instruction and advising that will keep you on track. Our faculty members are also practicing physical therapists, many of whom hold clinical certifications and/or advanced doctoral degrees. We represent solid academics, as Andrews has ranked among the “top 200 national colleges and universities” (U.S. News & World Report), and also ranks among the nation’s 190 best science and math programs (Peterson’s Top Colleges for Science Guide). Best of all, our reputation for solid academics has been established without compromising our commitment to providing a Christ-centered environment.
