What is PROXIMITY? 

James 4:8 assures us that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. Our PROXIMITY to God determines our ability to know Him! As a result of this PROXIMITY: CLARITY is received, CLOSENESS is perceived, CLEANLINESS is achieved. This process transforms us, leading to improved PROXIMITY with God and fellow believers. 

VISION

The PROXIMITY vision is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! We love God because He first loved us! (1 John 4:19) The PROXIMITY vision seeks to exhibit how far the Father is willing to go in order to improve His PROXIMITY to humanity. Campus Ministries believes that displaying this story will not only improve our campus’ PROXIMITY to the Father but also improve our PROXIMITY to each other. (John 17:23)

Get Clear

Knowing the Father is the pathway to eternal life. Jeremiah 29:13 promises, "If you look for me wholeheartedly, you WILL find me." When you study the word of God, receive a CLEAR revelation of who God is, and believe that it is true, this knowledge alone will improve your PROXIMITY to God and transform your life.

Get Close

The glory of the Father is felt as PROXIMITY is improved. As you spend more time with God, you'll notice an improved CLOSENESS to Him. This is no coincidence. James 4:8 urges, "Draw near to God, and He WILL draw near to you..." The CLOSENESS you feel is a sign that you have received the Holy Spirit, the One who transforms you by living within you.

Get Clean

Our Father wants to CLEANSE us! Only GOD can redeem and clear us of our sins. 1 John 1:9 promises that. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness." Our consciences can remain clear and our minds renewed as long as we continue to confess our sins to God and trust that the blood of Jesus is ENOUGH to make us right again.
