Before coming to Southern in 2003, Dr. Drumm taught at Southwestern Adventist University and Andrews University. Her practice experience focused on domestic violence, mental health, adoption, child sexual abuse, and substance abuse recovery. Her particular areas of interest are:

Youth substance abuse prevention
Program evaluation
Dr. Drumm loves anything that connects to water, sunshine, and sand. She has a passion for seeing the vision of Isaiah 58 a reality in the Adventist Church and for making our organizations a safe place for hurting and vulnerable people.
Dr. Drumm is an adjunct professor for the Doctor of Ministry program at Andrews. She is a lead teacher in the Family Ministry concentration.
