Biography

Dr. Seay has served as an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church for thirty years. he has served as a pastor of a local church for most of his ministry. He has also served as ministerial secretary and family ministry director for the South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He has been married to Tara Lynn for thirty years. They have three adult children.

Current Research or Professional Activities

Dr. Seay is an assistant professor of religion at Oakwood University. He is also an adjunct professor in the Urban Ministry concentration in the SDA Theological Seminary Doctor of Ministry program. He has limited availability as a project advisor/second reader for the DMin program. He is presently revising his dissertation on Martin Luther King Jr's theological/philosophical method for publication.
