COMPLETING OPEN ENROLLMENT
Beginning April 1, you will be able to make open enrollment changes on the online benefit management system (bswift).
Please remember:
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections do not passively roll into the new benefit year (per IRS regulations)
- You must re-enroll in the flex spending accounts every year

2019 Wellness Program for Health Premium Reward
To receive the full wellness reward on health premiums effective July 1, 2019, the following two requirements must be completed:
- Complete a wellness assessment on the FitThumb e-wellness platform in February (participating spouses must also complete)
AND
- Attend a town hall meeting (or complete an alternate requirement) in March
PLEASE NOTE
There will be no partial credit or subsequent opportunity to earn partial year credit.
FEBRUARY – Wellness Assessment
The brief personal wellness assessment on FitThumb will be available for completion only in the month of February, starting Friday, Feb. 1. Both you and your participating spouse (whether they are an AU employee or not) must complete this assessment to earn your health premium reward.
MARCH – Town Hall
There will be a total of four similar town hall sessions offered in March. This year we will have a shortened presentation period, followed by a Q&A time where benefit counselors will be available to answer questions one-on-one. If you are unable to attend a session, you will have the option of signing an online form attesting that you have read and understood the Employee Benefits Guide for the upcoming plan year. Attending a town hall session or completing the alternate requirement is necessary to earn your health premium reward (participating spouses are welcome, but not required to attend).
Dates
Wednesday, March 6 (10am, 3:30pm)
Tuesday, March 12 (10:30am, 4pm)
All meeting location will be at the Garber Auditorium (Chan Shun Hall). Please bring your ID card as we will be scanning them for attendance.
