Supervisory Training
The Supervisory Training modules include the following topics:
- Motivation and Coaching: Research shows that supervisors and employees are motivated by different things. Learn how to improve your employee motivation and production. Part 1 and Part 2 (This program is in two parts and must be taken in chronological order - preferably in the same semester).
- Leadership vs. Management in the 21st century: There is a difference between leadership and management. Learn about leadership styles and determine what style you gravitate towards. Improve your leadership and management skills. Part 1 and Part 2 (This program is two parts and must be taken in chronological order - preferably in the same semester).
- Budgeting and Finances at Andrews University: Learn the "ins" and "outs" of reading financial statements, preparing budgets, and understanding Andrews University's electronic financial codes.
- Conflict Management: Conflict is inevitable in life and work. Learn skills concerning how to create win/win situations and peaceful resolutions.
- Discipline: Unfortunately, there are times when discipline is needed. Learn when and how to apply discipline towards redemption.
- Important items regarding Payroll:
- Employment Issues: This seminar will present important information on: 1) job openings / postings, 2) applications (interviewing) / hiring, and 3) termination / exiting procedurse. Processes, tracking, timelines, and deadline will be discussed to update supervisors on employment processes.
