The Andrews University Board of Trustees met for their twice-yearly full board meeting this past weekend, March 2-5, on the campus of Andrews University. University president, Niels-Erik Andreasen, met with faculty and staff on Monday, March 5, to give the president's briefing.

Included in the Board's agenda were reports from Spiritual Life, Financial Administration, Student Life, Academic Administration, Enrollment Management and the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. The Board approved 2007-08 budget assumptions, and indicators look positive that Andrews will end the year on a solid financial footing. The trustees also heard a preliminary report from a separate ad hoc bylaws committee regarding changes to the corporation bylaws that may be recommended at the June 3 constituency meeting.

A constituency meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2007, and the next full board meeting is scheduled for October 2007.
