Paul Wright Update from Loma Linda

October 24, 2006 - It is always a pleasure to hear from our alumni. We received an email from Paul Wright giving us an update on his and Lindsey's life at Loma Linda.  Paul and Lindsey got married this summer and have started their lives together out in southern California.  They are enjoying their apartment which is located about 5-10 minutes from campus for Paul. 

Lindsey is taking a semester off before she goes back to school to try and get the apartment settled and decide whether she wants to stay with dietetics as a major or not.  Paul updated us on how his classes are going thus far in the semester. He reports, "The pace has definitely picked up substantially from the last set of exams and the class as a whole is pretty nervous because there is a ton of information that we're expected to know for the next exam.  Our physical diagnosis and examination class has really covered a lot of material, and I find it to be both the most challenging and also most interesting to study.  It's finally the more applicable specific information for day-to-day practice as opposed to some things in the basic sciences that are more foundational to the whole picture." 

It sounds like Paul is enjoying his experience at medical school.  As for Lindsey she is working at Pier 1 and is looking to start school in January.  Paul and Lindsey are excited about coming home for the holidays and we look forward to seeing them!
