I have been teaching nursing since 1983. My experience has focused on medical surgical nursing ranging from fundamentals through cardiopulmonary nursing. I have also taught Introductory Pharmacology for 13 years. My doctoral research focused on instructional methods that engage students in the classroom, particularly humor. I am a co-author for Critical Thinking Case Studies and More…®, a series of computerized case studies designed to stimulate and enhance development of critical thinking in nursing students.
