Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSMLS)
The complete degree program includes three years of pre-clinical studies, plus one year (3 semesters) of professional clinical education. Pre-clinical studies consist of required Andrews Core experience, cognate sciences and math, and MLS prerequisite courses. During the fall semester of the junior (third) year, students must apply for and be accepted into the clinical year. The clinical year consists of 32 credits in lecture and student laboratories and 15 credits earned through clinical practica. In the clinical practica, students work side by side with practicing laboratory professionals at one of our affiliate hospitals or clinical laboratory sites, which are located across the United States.
