SPLAD New Location

The School of Communication Sciences & Disorders has a new home in Bell Hall. Our former space was cramped at 700sq ft but the new area is a spacious 2800 sq ft! There is room to grow and we plan to grow and eventually outgrow this space as well as we move toward a master’s degree in speech-language  pathology  Over the last 5 years our enrollment has increased steadily from 25 majors to 71 in 2012.  The field of speech-language pathology is also growing with a projected employment increase of 23% during the next several years(www.bls.gov).  We are thankful for the many blessings this last year and are appreciative of how hard administration has worked to help us continue to serve students and patients.   Great things are happening in the fields of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and right here in our department. Come grow with us!
