Professor Johnson is a registered architect and certified planner and comes to us from Atlanta, Georgia, where he has served as a senior associate with TSW. He has been engaged in a broad variety of architectural and planning projects around the world. This experience has given him a strong knowledge in green building strategies, urbanist principles, and innovative design techniques suited for local contexts. He is certified in LEED AP BD+C and is a CNU-Accredited professional. Professor Johnson is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Congress for the New Urbanism, the American Planning Association, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Born and raised in Nassau, The Bahamas, he received an Associate Degree in Architecture at the University of The Bahamas and graduated from Andrews University with a Master of Architecture in 2009.
