Faculty Book Club
Sponsored by the Office of Human Resources and the Center for Teaching & Learning, this opportunity challenges faculty members to reflect on their current teaching practices and discuss ways to foster active learning, increase engagement, and improve student achievement.
TBA: Fall '19 and Spring '20 Books
Please come and be inspired to grow professionally as we dialogue with colleagues about the book and our lived experiences in higher education. This year we will offer a breakfast session for 8–10 participants and two lunch sessions. The breakfast session will be scheduled from 8:30–9:30a.m. The lunch sessions will begin at 11:45 a.m. and 12 p.m. The first 25 faculty members who register and commit to attending all three sessions will receive a complimentary copy of the book.
Location: Lincoln Room at the Terrace Cafe (unless otherwise noted)
- Breakfast: 8:30 - 9:30am Lunch(2 sessions): 11:30 & 12:30pm
