Online and Distance
When you are studying or working remotely, a majority of library resources and services are available to you. In special cases, accommodations are made to further support teaching, learning and research. The Library’s website is your virtual library and is accessible anytime anywhere.
Your Andrews University issued email and password allow you to access all digital resources and library services.
Need to reach us from off campus? Want help with research? Contact Us. You can call us, email us, or chat with a librarian or graduate student 6 days a week from the convenience of your home or office during library hours.
Subject librarians with expertise in specific areas are available for remote consultations via phone, email, or online (e.g. Zoom).
The Andrews University libraries have more than 200 electronic databases with journal articles, streaming media and e-books.
We have hundreds of databases that provide access to digital articles, video, and more.
Hundreds of AU dissertations, theses, and other AU scholarly publications accessible here.
Digitized collections of photographs, manuscripts, and other historical content.
We will deliver journal articles, chapters from books and course reserves, and books from the AU Libraries collection directly to you at no charge.
MeLCat – Service has been suspended!
Interlibrary Loans – No change to this service. Continue to place your request for books, media and articles.
Continue to renew materials online via MyAccount. Number of renewals have been extended.
Beginning Monday, March 16, fines are waived until further notice.
Books and media, including MeLCat and other interlibrary loan materials, may be returned to the James White Library either in person or via postal mail/other delivery services. If the Library is closed when you return your items, use the book drop at the entrance. If an item is due and the borrower does not want to come to campus to return it (due to illness or other extenuating circumstances), they should keep it until they are able to safely return it. No late fee will be charged.
In response to an Executive Order released by Michigan Governor Whitmer, Jame White Library is closed to the public until April 1st 2020. Come often to this web page to check future updates.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 New King James Version (NKJV)
