Enrollment Checklist
By July 15 you should:
- Log on to your preVue page to see the status of your transcripts, University application, immunization forms and residence hall application. You can also reach Registration Central from there. Go to www.andrews.edu/future and click on the preVue link.
- Send for a Final Transcript. You were accepted on the basis of a partial transcript sent to us from your school (if you applied during the school year). You now need to request that a final transcript be sent to Andrews University from your secondary school and any college from which you have received credit.
- Complete your Residence Hall Application online (or mail it to your residence hall's housing office). Submit your $200 room deposit to Student Financial Services. Don't wait for the July 15 deadline. Reserve early! If you have a preference of roommates, please indicate that person on your application. Students will not be allowed to move into the residence halls until they are financially cleared. Please note that if you decide not to attend Andrews University and fail to cancel your reservation by the July 15 deadline, your deposit will be forfeited. The Meier/Burman housing director may be reached at meierburmanhousing@andrews.edu and the Lamson housing director at lamsonhallhousing!@andrews.edu.
- Complete a TB Test and mail your Immunization Record. The Michigan Department of Public Health requires each student to meet immunization requirements. This includes receiving a TB Test within six months prior to registration. This must be done BEFORE your arrival. Mail your completed Immunization Record to Student Health. If you cannot find your records, you must have at least an MMR. This can be arranged at the University Medical Center before you start classes. Their contact number is 269-473-2222.
By August 15 you should:
- Complete your First Year Testing Online. All first year students are required to complete two online inventories before arriving on campus. Directions for accessing these inventories via the internet can be found in New Student Testing section of this guide.
