Getting to Andrews
Andrews University is located near several transportation hubs, making it easy for students from all over the world to arrive on our campus.
When making travel arrangements, please note that Andrews Transportation pick-up and drop-off services are available for those calling AU Transportation at least 24 hours in advance. Services are not available from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. If your flight schedule demands a Saturday arrival, please contact the Transportation Department in advance so special arrangements can be made.
Arriving Early
Some students and parents may choose to arrive early in the Berrien Springs area. Due to final preparations, early arrivals should call ahead to the residence hall to see if they can be accomodated.
In honor of the Sabbath hours, students may not move their belongings, except for overnight necessities, into the residence hall from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Meal service on Saturdays is limited to lunch and supper. Cash and credit transactions are not accepted during this time. However, courtesy meal arrangements will be offered to new students and their families. Cash, credit cards, or activated Student ID Cards may be used at all other times throughout the week.
Families wishing to spend a Sabbath in the area can find a list of local churches here. Local parks worth visiting include Warren Dunes State Park, Love Creek County Park and Nature Center, Sarrett Nature Center, and the Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve. Some may wish to make a trip to Battle Creek's Historic Adventist Village, an hour and a half northeast of Berrien Springs.
Staying at Andrews
Students with residence hall reservations may move in on Sunday, August 19. A limited number of guest rooms are available for parents. Otherwise, family members may want to contact one of the hotels in our area.
