New Year’s Resolution #10: Read more.

A great book to read is the Bible! Maybe you could plan to read the Bible through this year. There are lots of good plans available to help you out. Although the Bible is a very long book, its message is simple: God is love! He loved you so much that he gave his only son to die in your place, so that you might live (John 3:16).

This thorny plant, Euphorbia milii, is called the Crown of Thorns. Legend has it that this plant was used to make the crown of thorns worn by Christ - it is also called the Christ plant. The deep red bracts, present year-round, suggest drops of blood.
