Programs

The Social Work Department offers you a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree. Our program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The BSW curriculum centers on preparing students for entry-level professional practice or admission to a Master of Social Work (MSW) program. Required BSW course content includes:

• Human Behavior and the Social Environment
• Social Welfare Policy
• Research
• Professional Practice
• Practicum

The program integrates concepts of professional ethics and values, critical thinking, and sensitivity to diversity, oppression, social and economic justice, and populations-at-risk.
