Position summary
Operate digitization equipment
Qualifications summary
Must be a current full time student eligible for work
Must take Office Proficiency Skills tests at HR/student labor and bring results to Wanda Cantrell in the library Dean's Office
Must fill out an on-site application including resume in person at James White Library (see above)
Duties and responsibilities
Prepare material for and operate digitization equipment
Perform various digitization tasks for paper-based materials
Cooperate in the creation and/or modification of metadata for Center resources being scanned
Data entry
Perform post-scanning activities according to established procedures
Assist with other tasks as needed within the Center
Supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications
Consdierable eperience with scanning paper and maniuplation of data files
High level of attention to detail and quality of work
Organized and orderly
Posession of a strong work ethic
Ability to undertand instructions and training in English and follow through on instructions without constant supervision
If international, you must have the necessary visa allowing you to work in the USA
Ability to faithfully and consistently work at least 10-20 hours a week on an agreed to schedule
Openings in your class and other activities schedule to allow working two to four hour time blocks
Experience with various Adobe products, such as Photoshop, helpful
Experience with rotary, flatbed, and/or overhead scanners
Prefer 2 or more years remaining at Andrews University
A Seventh-day Adventist background is very helpful
