Position summary

Teach marketing and related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications summary

Have an earned doctorate in marketing and sufficient teaching experience in marketing at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Be actively engaged in research, service, student advising, and supervising student projects.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

Teaching marketing and related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels

Periodic international travel and teaching may be required

Assigned committees

Research and publications

Service

Possible consulting

Supervisory responsibilities

Student advising

Student internships and projects

Qualifications

Earned doctorate in marketing or related field

Proven teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Be actively engaged in research, service student avising, and supervising student projects.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Technical competencies

Excellent computer application skills.

Ability and willingness to teach online courses.

Interpersonal interactions

Interact with students in an advisory role.

Be a team player.

Be able to embrace the diversity and cultures represented at Andrews University.

Physical demands

Physical abilities as needed to fulfill teaching responsibilities.

Work environment

Normal office and classroom environment.

Evening and weekend courses may be required.
