Position summary

Wellness Club Student Associates at the Andreasen Center for Wellnesswill be selected and trained for one of the following positions: Fitness Associate, Customer Wellbeing Associate, or Member Services Associate. All positions will have afocus on customer service and creatinga professional, friendly and safewell-being environment.

Qualifications summary

Wellness Club Student Associates at the Andreasen Center for Wellnessmust be dependable, task-oriented, self-motivated, customer service-oriented, have solid technological and communication abilities and strong organizational and self-management skills. Wellness Club Student Associatesmust be focused, outcome-driven and flexible to adapt to the increasing developing facets of The Wellness Club at the Andreasen Center for Wellness.

Technical competencies

Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient with Apple iPad OS X software.  

Interpersonal interactions

Must be able to communicate effectively and be courteous when interacting with others to create a positive impression. In addition, this candidate should be able to maintain a high level of positive energy and enthusiasm as it relates to anythingpertaining tohealth, wellness and fitness and representing the Wellness Club staff at the Andreasen Center for Wellness. 

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand/sit/walk or move at higher intensities; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. *Fitness Associatesmust be able to lift and move weighted objects on a regular basis., sometimes up to 100lbs or more!

Work environment

Fitness Center conditions with average noise levels.
