CHILDRENS LEARNING CENTER - Caregiver - Winter Break

Position summary

We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, loving and creative individual to help teach and care for the children in our center. You will be involved in all aspects of education and care for children ages 2 weeks through 12 years. 



Proof of background check, finger printing, first aid, TB test, CPR and additional job related trainings are required.
Priority given to workers who can work during the university breaks/holidays.

Physical demands

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 25% walking, and 70% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.  
Ability to wear a mask at all times while at work under the current guidelines of The State of Michigan is required.

Work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
