Position summary
The Administrative Assistant is in charge of carrying out day-to-day organizational tasks and facilitating efficient communication across an entire office or specific department. Answering phones, manage office calendars, update databases and complete general clerical work and recordkeeping tasks for ther director of CYE, Pastor Ron Whitehead
Greets students, faculty/staff, and guests. Provides a wide variety of iinformation, materials, and services to students, faculty, guests including application information and materials, general information about CYE and information regarding special programs and variations of schedules.
Qualifications summary
- High school diploma
- prefer candidates with 4-year degree or equivalent and/or job experience
- Commitment to Christian education and the mission of the Adventist Church.
- Proficiency with computers MAC-OS and office equipment,such as variety of office software, email, scheduling, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Knowledge of and experience with office productivity tools, including word processing and excel.
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Answer phones/transfer calls/take messages
- Greet visitors/answer questions
- Filing-electronic and hard copy
- Manage master calendar of the CYE director
- Type/send coorespondence as needed
- Set zoom meetings as needed for office staff
- Assist administration of ministry events
- Order/purchase supplies for office
- International Camporee Executive advisory committee secretary
- Maintain office/office equipment/and or maintenance for repair
- CYE staff meetings, agendas and minutes
- International Pathfinder camporee registration coordinator
- Jobs as assigned by CYE director
Supervisory responsibilities
Supervise student labor at diffrent times during ministry events

- Knowledge of and experience with office productivity tools, including word processing and spreadsheet packages.

- Has a love for youth ministry
- Must have knowledge in MAC computers
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
