Position summary

This candidate will provide a variety of student services that will include supporting students needs, enrollment, communications, academic support,Griggs Life event planning and student retention. 

Qualifications summary

The candidate should have a related degree and experience in an educational environment.  Education degree/masters degree is preferred. Speaking Spanish is very helpful.


Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

Duties and responsibilities

• Supervise Student Enrollment


• Collaborate in promotional efforts


• Coordinate family/student visits


• Develop a communication plan


• Participate in automated student information


• Supervise the student help desk


• Assist students with academic strategies


• Supply resources to students and teachers for IEPs


• Coordinate Mentorship Program


• Liason for student and teachers


• Coordinate Chapels/assemblies


• Assist with projects as assigned by administration

Supervisory responsibilities

• Coordinate Help desk employees


• Supervise student hourly worker


• Supervise Enrollment Counselor position


• Supervise and participate in the enrollment process

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in related area


• Teacher Certification preferred


• Masters degree preferred


• Experience with SDA Education


• Experience with planning events


• Professional writing skills


• Digital Media skills


• Used to using various technology


• Comfortable planning online events

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
