Job Title: Assistant Professor of Design
Classification: [FF] Faculty Full-Time
Department: Digital Media & Photography
Hours Per Week:   full time
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Available: Immediately
Primary Duties:
  • Teach three studio classes each semester in Graphic Design and Typography from beginning to advanced graphic design.
  • Teach foundation classes, such as basic design, that support art education, art history, graphic design, photography, interior design, multimedia design and studio art.
  • Contribute to a growing, dynamic and rigorous learning atmosphere.
  • Provide academic advisement of students; curriculum development and service to the department, college, and university.
  • Engage in professional research related to discipline.
  • Perform other duties as designated by department chair.
Qualifications:
  • MFA with emphasis in Graphic Design.
  • Macintosh platform expertise.
  • Teaching experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience with an emphasis in print design.

    Job Title: Professor of Clinical and Laboratory Sciences
    Classification: [FF] Faculty Full-Time
    Department: Clinical and Laboratory Science
    Hours Per Week:   40+
    Salary: Commensurate with Experience
    Available: May 1, 2010
    Primary Duties:
    • Teach selected fundamental clinical laboratory science courses and clinical year student laboratories, specimen procurement and processing (phlebotomy), and other courses as required for the clinical laboratory science program.
    • Serve as an academic advisor.
    • Participate in curriculum development and student evaluation.
    • Work with adjunct clinical instructors at affiliate facilities.
    • Serve on assigned university committees.
    • Direct student research activities and conduct own personal research.
    Qualifications:
    • Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist with nationally recognized certification, either from the American Society for Clinical Pathology or the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel.
    • Demonstrable laboratory expertise with broad generalist experience, must include clinical chemistry.
    • Team player with good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
    • Teaching experience either in an academic setting or as a clinical instructor.
    • Masters degree in a relevant field required. Earned doctoral degree preferred.
    • Individuals with a distinguished clinical laboratory career may also be considered.

    Job Title: Professor of Psychology

    Primary Duties: The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching in the Psychology program, mentoring student research and developing a strong research program that includes student scholars.
    Specific duties include:
    • Assisting recruiting students into a psychology major.
    • Advising students
    • Teaching Intro to Psychology courses as well as Developmental Psychology.
    • Helping with the research sequence.
    • The applicant is also expected to engage in scholarly research and as a part of their research program include and mentor student scholars.
    Qualifications:
    • PhD in Psychology from an APA accredited school required with teaching experience and demonstrated research interests and productivity.
    • Specifically experience in such areas as Intro to Pscyhology, Developmental Psychology and clinical psychology.
    • We are looking for strong training in research methods with experience of strong interaction with students.
