- Provide service in accordance with university expectations, such as advising, committee assignments and community involvement.

| Qualifications: |
- Evidence of a successful career as pianist and teacher.
- A distinguished teaching record in the classroom.
- Good communication skills and experience as mentor and advisor to students majoring in music.
- Expertise and experience in teaching music history or music theory courses.
- Experiential knowledge of Christian education and values.
- Earned doctoral degree preferred. Masters degree accompanied with a distinguished career will also be considered.
- Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Rank will be determined based on academic qualifications and accomplishments.
