Job Title: Director of Dining Services
Classification: [SA] Salaried Administrator
Department: Financial Administration
Hours Per Week:   40+
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Available: Immediately
Primary Duties:
  • Oversees the strategic and financial planning for Dining Services
  • Sets goals and objectives of operation
  • Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations
  • Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints
  • Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
  • Confers with food preparation and other personnel to plan menus and related activities such as Gazebo, school lunch, child care lunch, and catering operations
  • Estimates food and beverage costs and requisitions or purchase supplies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in related field and four to ten years related experience /training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong business background required
  • Culinary experience and certifications preferred
  • Proven management skills required

    Job Title: Associate Director Clinical Services
    Classification: [SF] Salaried Full-Time
    Department: Counseling & Testing Center
    Hours Per Week:   40+
    Salary: Commensurate with Experience
    Available: January 1, 2010
    Primary Duties:
    • Strong generalist skills in time-limited individual counseling, group psychotherapy, outreach/consultation, assessment and crisis intervention
    • Oversee Student Wellness program
    • Provide clinical supervision of psychology interns, and other trainees
    • Coordinate/participate in internal research and professional development.
    • Assist with the development & maintenance of policies and procedures governing clinical services
    • Coordinate after hours and weekend student crisis interventions in consultation with Director
    • Maintain clinical records and provide clinical documentation and communication with in-house and external practitioners as necessary for ethical clinical treatment
    • Provide leadership in matters related to clinical staff development and campus wide mental health consultations
    • Present workshops and occasional lectures, e.g. a graduate class as needed
    • Assume responsibility for other assignments including serving on divisional and university committees
    Qualifications:
    • Earned doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
    • Degree from an accredited academic institution
    • Current full psychology license or license eligible in Michigan
    • Two - three years experience in college mental health services
    • Demonstrated knowledge of student development theory
    • Commitment to working collaboratively within the Student Life Division, establishing and maintaining close working relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators
    • Previous work with a diverse student population preferred
