Defined Contribution Retirement Plan

Welcome to the Adventist Retirement Defined Contribution Plan, where retirement planning starts today to cover your tomorrows.

Whether you are just beginning or already well into your career, now is the time to begin planning for your future. The Adventist Retirement Plan (ARP) and AIG Retirement have joined forces to provide you with the tools and resources to help you develop a retirement package that may meet your financial needs for the future. Here are some of the tools that are available to you:

  1. www.aigretirement.com/adventist, providing secure 24-hour Internet access to your account and investment information.

  2. easy Access at 888. 568. 2542, a phone automated information service providing you with the same easy-to-use account services as the Web site.

  3. A quarterly statement will be sent to keep you up-to-date on your portfolio's progress.

Please read carefully any materials regarding retirement that you have received and contact AIG Retirement to arrange a one-on-one meeting with a financial professional. They will be happy to answer your questions and work with you to develop an investment strategy that will meet your retirement needs. To enhance the Adventist Retirement Plan (Defined Contribution) by increasing the employer payments into the fund from 4% to 5% of payroll, the new contribution rate was voted effective July 1, 2002:

    8.75 %

To activate this new contribution rate, you need to:

  1. Log in at www.andrews.edu/go/mybenefits.
  2. On the Home page, click on My Benefits.
  3. Then click Retirement on the left column.
  4. Enter your desired contribution amount or percentage of salary.
