You Can Be a Part!
Dear campus family,
At chapel this morning, I highlighted God’s call for us to care for the creation. (You can read the message here.)
In response, we will work together to create a culture of creation care at Andrews University. A key component on this journey of environmental stewardship is establishing the Creation Care Council (CCC), comprised of students, faculty, staff and leaders across our campus. The CCC will generate ideas that we will seek to implement, such as ways to switch to renewable resources, to make our campus more energy efficient, to reduce our waste and promote conservation, and to enhance the biodiversity of our campus—ultimately, ways in which we can best promote environmental care and help solve real world problems.
If you would like to be a part of this endeavor, perhaps serving on the council or as a member of an action team that will work on “Go green!” projects, let me know by sending me a message from this link or to president@andrews.edu. If there is a particular aspect of our ecological focus for which you have a special interest, also let me know in the message.
Together let’s forge a future for Andrews that uplifts our care for God’s creation!
Let’s make a difference and Change the World!
