The Master of Arts: Communication Interdisciplinary Studies is designed for students who wish to develop advanced-level communication skills in combination with knowledge or skills in another area or areas. Students may select either the interdisciplinary program or one of the emphasis areas.

The MA Graduate Profile
The MA: Communication Interdisciplinary Studies graduates have the requisite knowledge and skills to successfully communicate orally and in writing, and are prepared for positions in communication, public relations organizations, advertising agencies, advancement and development offices, news and media outlets, religious communication agencies, nonprofit organizations, church communication directorships and in administration. They will be communication professionals of choice for health care, mass media, development, and other organizations that require clarity of thought and communication of creative ideas. Graduates will show ethical principles and an appreciation for cultural diversity and spirituality.
