Admission
How to apply:
- Consult the Graduate Program website and/or the AU Bulletin for details
- Request application materials from www.andrews.edu/GRAD
- Download the complete application
- Download the international application
AU Admission requirements:
- Fill out the Application for Graduate Admission form and return it with a $40 application fee (non-refundable)
- Prepare a 500-word Statement of Purpose explaining why you want to take a graduate degree at Andrews University and which explains how you intend to accomplish your career goals either by integrating a secondary area or emphasis with communication
- Have professionals who know you well complete 2 Graduate Recommendation forms
- Arrange for official transcripts of all your previous post-secondary academic work to be sent directly to the AU Graduate Admissions office
- Arrange to take the GRE
- Meet English language requirements if you are a non-English language speaking person
Department of Communication requirements:
- 12 credits of Communication/Journalism/PR courses completed at the undergrad level
- An overall GPA of 2.75
- A minimum TOEFL score of 600 average with no section score lower than 60 and a minimum 5.5 score on the TWE (Test of Written English) or a minimum MELAB average score of 90 with no section lower than 88. No test score may be older than one year.
