Rochelle Hanson CD Debut
Rochelle Hanson, Andrews University Communication alum and inspirational songstress, has just released a brand new single, "Words to Say". The single, released on February 2, 2010, blends her signature mix of Soul, Acoustic and Jazz and comes as a follow-up to her first CD, "Step Out" which featured 12 original songs including "People Might Say" and "So Happy" featuring Roni Szpakowski. Both CDs are available online via iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and other online retailers. They can also be purchased directly at her website.
Hanson began her musical career after a close brush with death in December of 2005. The nearly fatal car accident was the wake up call she needed to fully realize the passion for music she had cherished since age 4. Today, her music combines strong lyrical content and an authentic message that inspires listeners to embrace a positive outlook on life. Hanson is an alumnus from Andrews University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Media Studies.
In wake of the recent tragedy in Haiti Hanson, like other artists, is using her musical talent to help to make a difference. 50% of all the proceeds from downloads of "Words to Say" will go directly to the World Vision Haiti Relief Efforts.
