Biography:
Dr. Aerts has 30 years of experience in physical therapy including outpatient physical therapist, privatepractice owner, university health system executive director of orthopedic services, and adjunct faculty at Andrews University. He founded the MET brands (MET Seminars, MET Equipment, MET Consulting), and is an international presenter, invited speaker, and lecturer on implementing clinical best rehabilitaiton in daily practice within a value based delivery system to obtain optimal outcomes. He is the primary author of Inter-rater Reliability of Sustained Aberrant Movement Patterns as a Clinical Assessment of Muscular Fatigue (2016) published in The Open Orthopaedics Journal and he co-authored textbook Hand-Held Dynamometry: Guidelines for Daily Clinical Practice (2018). Dr. Aerts is a graduate of the Catholic University of Leuven (1990) and Andrews University (2012).
