| Primary Duties: |
- Provide leadership in the vocal area and coordinate vocal activities at both our undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Teach voice majors, graduate and undergraduate.
- Teach courses in vocal area such as vocal literature and pedagogy, singers diction, and vocal methods.
- Share some teaching of courses in other general areas such as theory or music history, as needed.
- Direct major vocal productions and provide a variety of performance opportunities for voice majors and students.
- Engage in scholarly and creative activity and research in accordance with university expectations.
- Provide service in accordance with university expectations, such as advising, committee assignments and community involvement.

| Qualifications: |
- Evidence of successful career as singer and vocal instructor.
- Earned doctoral degree in voice performance or pedagogy.
- Candidates with substantial work towards doctoral degree (ex. DMA candidate) accompanied with distinguished vocal and teaching career may also be considered.
- Experience and training of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and highly committed to the mission and educational practices of Andrews University.
