Job Title: Social Work Faculty
Classification: [FT] Faculty Full-Time
Department: Social Work
Hours Per Week:   3/4 time

Primary Duties:
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate all field agency placements for BSW and MSW students through the entire year
  • Develop and facilitate training for field instructors
  • Teach field education seminar and service classes
  • Advise students on academic areas of the program
  • Participate in service and research activities
Qualifications:
  • The Director of Field Education position requires an MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of 2 years of post-master\'s social work practice experience
  • This position requires demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and interest in research area also highly desirable

    Job Title: Professor of Family Life and Discipleship

    Job Title: Professor of Clinical and Laboratory Sciences

    Primary Duties:
    • Teach selected fundamental clinical laboratory science courses and clinical year student laboratories, specimen procurement and processing (phlebotomy), and other courses as required for the clinical laboratory science program.
    • Serve as an academic advisor.
    • Participate in curriculum development and student evaluation.
    • Work with adjunct clinical instructors at affiliate facilities.
    • Serve on assigned university committees.
    • Direct student research activities and conduct own personal research.
    Qualifications:
    • Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist with nationally recognized certification, either from the American Society for Clinical Pathology or the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel.
    • Demonstrable laboratory expertise with broad generalist experience, must include clinical chemistry.
    • Team player with good communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
    • Teaching experience either in an academic setting or as a clinical instructor.
    • Masters degree in a relevant field required. Earned doctoral degree preferred.
    • Individuals with a distinguished clinical laboratory career may also be considered.
