Job Title: Bindery/Press Supervisor
Classification: [HF] Hourly Full-Time

Primary Duties:
  • Operate Ryobi two color press and one color AB Dick press
  • Bindery - operate booklet maker, guillotine, perfect binders and folders
  • Supervise up to six student, organizing work, train workers, and maintain quality control standards
Qualifications:
  • Minimum four years of offset printing experience
  • Associates degree or bachelor\'s degree preferable
  • Bindery experience required
  • Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.

    Job Title: Executive Assistant
    Classification: [HF] Hourly Full-Time
    Department: University Advancement
    Hours Per Week:   35-40
    Salary: Commensurate with Experience
    Available: February 1, 2012
    Primary Duties:
    • Ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the Office of University Advancement
    • Manages the office budget, financial transactions and periodically prepares reports as required
    • Composes routine correspondence with donors and other departments
    • Works with the departments within University Advancement on special projects (Alumni, Capital Campaign, Community Relations, Development, Howard Performing Arts Center and Planned Giving)
    • Serves as the United Way representative and conducts the United Way Campaign on campus
    • Oversees routine correspondence and filters e-mails, managers the Vice President calendar and other office support duties
    • Coordinates luncheons, meetings, special events and prepares materials accordingly
    • Assists with projects associated with Community Relations
    • Assists with the Capital Campaign for the new Health and Wellness Center
    Qualifications:
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet tight deadlines
    • Bachelor degree preferred and previous experience required
    • Must have the ability to work well as a team

    Job Title: Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic
    Classification: [HF] Hourly Full-Time
    Department: Airport/FAA Repair Station
    Hours Per Week:   40
    Salary: Commensurate with Experience
    Available: Immediately
    Primary Duties:
    • Perform proficient inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and alterations as applicable to airframes, components, and engines of light general aviation aircraft
    • Work must be accomplished to certify aircraft are in approved airworthy condition upon completion of any maintenance activity
    • Must be able to work as a part of a team or independently, as assigned
    • Consults manufacturers technical data for specifications and feasibility of repair
    • Facilitates parts ordering or contracts services to ensure repairs are timely and cost-effective
    • Releases aircraft for flight after maintenance and appropriate paperwork is completed in accordance with repair station requirements
    Qualifications:
    • Requires FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates
    • Three to five years of aircraft maintenance experience maintaining fixed-wing reciprocating engine aircraft to include complex airframe modifications
  • Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
