| Primary Duties: |
- Patrols university grounds and roads on foot and in patrol car to control traffic, prevent crime or disturbance of peace and detain violators by assisting area police and medic crews, noting suspicious persons, and directing traffic
- Assists area police and medic crews as requested
- Reports hazards, medical emergencies, fire/intrusion alarms, etc...
- Renders first aid at accidents
- Investigate cause and result of accidents
- Issue/enforce speeding and parking violations
- Perform building opening/closing accurately per departmental schedule
- Directs and reroutes traffic around fire or other disruptions
- Completes incident reports, shift logs and other paperwork in professional manner

| Qualifications: |
- Associates degree or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Any military/police experience is highly desired
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization, apply common sense; understanding to carry out detailed orders
- Current drivers license required
- First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing. |
