Primary Duties: Works as assistant to the Chair of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in cooperation with the department Administrative Assistant.
Qualifications: Must be a current AU Student with graduate status. Strong written and verbal skills, highly organized, able to manage time well and work with little supervision. Prior experience working in an office environment helpful. Familiar with office machines, i.e., copier, fax, phone. May occasionally have to lift heavy boxes.

Job Title: Student Network Technician
Department: ITS SANs
Salary: Starting @ $8.00/hr., Commensurate with Experience
Date Available: 5-1-2013
Primary Duties: Primary responsibility is for the monitoring and maintenance of all UPSs on campus. This includes managing the inventory of spare batteries, monitoring cards and spare UPS units. Other duties include the installation of wireless access points in buildings, cleaning and organization of data closets, installation of data network cabling, assisting with data closet design, rebuilding and/or upgrading data closets, and the installation of equipment in data centers.
Qualifications: Prefer self-motivated, trustworthy, detail oriented individuals that have experience using hand tools. An applicant with the base knowledge of the names of equipment used in a network is a plus. Applicants with a cheerful nature that are willing to learn and able to work alone or with a small team are preferred. Must enjoy flexible work, maybe not knowing what job will be assigned from day to day. Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 50 lbs. Must be able to work in at least two hour blocks and not less than 10 hrs./wk. Prefer applicants that plan on working with our team for at least a year or more, although those with previous experience may be considered for shorter periods.

Job Title: Female Student Dean

Primary Duties: • Supports the management and direction of the daily operation of the residence hall • Assists in responding to the spiritual, social, physical, and academic needs of the residents through programming and personal attention • Helps in the facilitation of an environment which promotes community within the residence hall • Aids in residence hall communications including newsletters, Orgsync, Facebook, Twitter, web page, etc. • Supports Guest & Convention services for the University • Provides supervision of lobby and residential areas and give detailed reports of related issues • Other job description areas yet to be determined

Job Title: Student Web Developer & Designer
Department: Office of Integrated Marketing & Communication

Primary Duties:
  • Assist web team in responding to and solving tickets in web support ticket system
  • Monitor and edit content throughout the University site
  • Provide CMS (content management system) training to campus web editors
  • Assist departments/offices in updating their unit’s website content
  • Design and implement graphical layouts and HTML/CSS code in the CMS
  • Assist in developing and maintaining programming functionality in the CMS and other web-based applications
