• It is behavior that does not occur coincidentally; it is a form of violence, be it conscious or unconscious, which damages the child psychologically and physically. It occurs in families as well as institutions, leads to injuries, arrests development, or even leads to death. It always impairs or threatens the child’s well-being and its rights.
