• Reduce PID as measured by a reduction in hospitalizations for PID to no more than 250 per 100,000 women age 15 through 44 (baseline 311/100,000 in 1988)
• Reduce the sexually transmitted hepatitis B to no more than 30,500 cases (baseline 58,300 cases in 1988)
