Dean Lashley graduated from Andrews University with a B.A in Spanish, a minor in English and a Secondary Education certification. She also completed her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration.
Dean Lashley was born in Mandeville, Jamaica to parents Sylvan and Rosita Lashley. After a short while there, she moved to Maracus, Trinidad where she spent a good portion of her childhood. Next, she moved to South Lancaster/Leominster, Massachusetts where she went to high school at South Lancaster Academy. After high school, she attended Andrews University. While there, she was able to pursue her goal of becoming an educator. After college, she volunteered at a high school in Brooklyn, NY, then moved to Blue Mountain Academy where she was the Girls’ Dean, Spanish and Lifeskills teacher. After a few years, she accepted the offer to return to Andrews University. Her hobbies include: ministry, playing and watching basketball, reading, listening to music, watching Netflix and baking.
