Why Worship?

Scripture tells us that there is strength in fellowship, and we've found this to be true. We believe that an understanding of scripture and its relationship to contemporary living is cruicial for all. This relationship provides a foundation for love of God, the ability to be a confident and positive witness for Him, and a commission to serve Him in all areas of our lives.

Here at Lamson Hall, we prayerfully plan the worship services for our Lamson community. It is our intent that the corporate worship experiences will meet the following goals for our residents:

• Introduce residents to the Savior.
• Nuture and encourage residents in Christian growth.
• Deepen residents' personal walk with Christ.
• Instruct residents in Christlike living.
• Provide an interlude of quiet reflection and blessing apart from the hectic college day.

What an awesome and incredible opportunity God has given the ladies of Lamson Hall, women from various nations to come together daily to worship, praise, and reflect on the merciful kindness and love of Jesus. As we share prayer requests and watch God perform miracles in the lives of the Lamson residents, the truth about who He is and who He wants to be is being displayed in our day to day living and surrendering. This is proof that we can still wholeheartedly believe in a God who is very much alive and actively transforming our lives. Each woman has been called and chosen to be here at this particular time and season. Pray and rejoice with us as we love the Lord and serve each other and our community with joy and thanksgiving. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
