Biography

Loretta Johns holds a joint appointment as associate professor of Behavioral Science in the School of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences at Andrews University. Currently, she is also serving as interim dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. Loretta earned a master's degree in Educational Psychology at Michigan State University and a doctorate at the University of Maryland. Her interdisciplinary doctorate combines learning-research and methodology with the practical content areas of business education and organizational behavior.

For the past seven years, Loretta has served as assistant dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Her work centers primarily around helping students to find and develop their potential. She is also interested in strategic planning, with applications throughout all levels of education, from kindergarten through college.
