Classrooms

Courses are usually held in a seminar room or classroom in the seminary building on campus; the specific room location should be identified in your course outline, or inquire at the seminary dean's office upon your arrival. Signs are usually posted in the building to direct you to the classroom reserved for your class. Be sure to check ahead of time on course location, because occasionally we must use a campus facility other than the seminary building.

Food Choices

The campus Dining Services offers vegetarian and vegan menu items, with an all-you-care-to-eat pricing as follows (prices are before tax and subject to change, so these are approximate):
$10.75 Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner dine-in
$11.75 take-out

The Gazebo, just off the student lounge in the Campus Center, offers an a la carte menu and convenience items. It is open until 11:00 p.m. daily except Fridays.

Apple Valley Market is within walking distance on the edge of campus and has groceries, a noon-time deli, and Cafe 31 which offers a soup-and-sandwich menu.

There are several restaurants and fast-food outlets near campus in the village of Berrien Springs, including familiar names such as Pizza Hut, Subway, Taco Bell. Baguettes is a popular gourmet sandwich shop. There are some small ethnic-specialty restaurants in the village. Vegetarian options can be found on the menu at most of these establishments.

Lodging

For on-campus accommodations, the lowest-cost option is to stay in a dormitory room, depending on availability, with linens provided (approx. $60/day). Reserve your room early! Due to high enrollment, dormitory guest rooms are available only in the summer semester. They fill quickly because of many summer events on campus, so reserve early! To reserve a dormitory room, call Guest/Convention Services at 1-269-471-3360, or email lodging@andrews.edu.  See the Guest Room Reservations page for details and pricing.

See www.andrews.edu/visitors/ for additional information about on-campus accommodations.

The University has a small number of motel-type guest rooms in the Campus Center, at a rate somewhat greater than the cost of a dormitory room. These are also reserved through the Guest/Convention Services office at 269-471-3360/3674, or lodging@andrews.edu.

A limited number of furnished guest apartments may be available at weekly or monthly rates. Call the Campus Housing (apartments) office at 269-471-6979 or email housing@andrews.edu for more information.

The campus has space for RV parking at Beaver Point. To make a lot reservation, call Guest/Convention Services: 269-471-3360/3674, or email lodging@andrews.edu.

Many off-campus choices for hotels/motels are available in the area within a range of 40 miles.
