Biography

Dr. Evans' areas of expertise include: church planting, coaching, and natural church development. During his tenure as church planting director in Texas, 114 new churches were planted over a period of nine years.  Tom is married to Mara (originally from Brazil). They have five children and are in the process of adopting two boys from an orphanage in Latvia. In their "extra" time, Tom and Mara enjoy raising and showing golden retrievers.

Current Research or Professional Activities

Dr. Evans serves as concentration coordinator and is a lead teacher for the "Leading for Growth and Church Multiplication" concentration in the Doctor of Ministry program.
