Physics Lab Kit 1
Semester 1 - Forces, Motion, and Energy

Description
Our team of faculty and staff worked together to develop a set of experiments that can be performed with minimal equipment while teaching the core principles of physics. These labs mirror the work performed in a typical first year physics course. Minimal equipment (smartphone, computer, and common household items) from the student will be needed.
Each Semester Lab Kit Includes:
- Box of Lab Equipment (for one student/group)
-
Digital Access to...
- Demonstration Videos for each Lab
- Lab Setup and Procedure Instructions
- Lab Report Templates
Labs Included:
- Introduction to Lab Tools
- Uniform Motion
- Forces in Equilibrium
- Motion with Constant Acceleration
- Newton's 2nd Law
- Conservation of Energy
- Conservation of Momentum
- Rotational Motion
- Static Equilibrium
- Archimedes' Principle
- Calorimetry
- Simple Harmonic Motion
- Resonance in a Tube
