2015 Andrews Research Conference:
Early Career Researchers in the Social Sciences
We are pleased to announce that the Office of Research, in cooperation with the Andrews University Social Sciences Departments, will be hosting the 2nd annual Andrews Research Conference (ARC) on our campus from May 13-17, 2015. The conference will be sponsored by the North American Division, the General Conference Office of Archives, Statistics, and Research, and the Adventist Human-Subjects Researchers Association.
All Adventist graduate students, post-docs and early faculty in the Social Science disciplines are welcome. This includes Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Communications, Community and International Development, and Anthropology. Participants must apply by submitting an application with their abstract to the Office of Research no later than January-February, 2015. The submissions will be reviewed by the Program Committee with notification of acceptance given in March. Each participant is expected to give a 10-15 minute oral presentation on their research.
The conference itself will be free with on-campus and conference expenses provided for participants. However, participants will need to provide their own transportation to Andrews University.
More information will be posted closer to the date.
