WHAT: This week, October 5-9, is Vote Week!
WHO: If you are at least 18 years of age (before November 3) and a United States citizen, we encourage you to register to vote. If you are a student living in Michigan, you may register to vote locally.
WHERE: Volunteers will be present in the Student Life Office from Monday through Thursday (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and Friday (10 a.m. – 1 p.m.) to receive your Michigan Voter Registration Application.
HOW: Applications can be downloaded here or picked up in person at the Campus Center Lobby or the Vote Week Tent just outside.
IMPORTANT: When filling out the Voter Registration Application, if your home address is different than your address while studying at the University, put your University address on the “address where you live” line and your home address on the “mailing address” line.
PLEASE BRING the following to the Student Life Office:
WHY: Our volunteers will 1) check your application for accuracy and 2) make a copy of your photo ID to expedite the registration process. They will deliver your application same-day to the clerk’s office (if you live in Oronoko Township).
WANT TO VOTE ELSEWHERE? If you’d like to register and vote absentee in your home state, instead, or if you have any questions about the voting process, please go to our Student Voter Guide at www.andrews.edu/go/vote for more information.
That’s it. We hope to see all eligible voters soon!
