Promote Your Event

Posters

All posters and flyers must be approved at the Student Life Office before posting or distributing on campus. All posters, except those advertising upcoming academic courses or tours, will be given a maximum of thirty days approval. Posters must have an original stamp. Photocopies of stamped posters will be removed by our building custodians, as will posters without a stamp.

You are strongly encouraged to e-mail or bring your poster design to the Student Life Office for review before investing in print pieces. Once designed, posters and flyers can be printed by LithoTech (471-6027).

In order to receive approval, posters:

  • Must be no more than 11 X 17 inches in size
  • Must include the name of the event and sponsoring campus organization or department
  • Must conform to all Student Handbook standards with regard to dress code, condoned activities, acceptable language, etc.
  • If you are offering your personal services, selling, or renting, you must include your first and last name and contact information.
  • Handwritten pieces are discouraged

Posters must be placed in designated areas only, and within the numeric limits set by each building manager. Posters may NOT be attached to any painted or glass surfaces or posted on top of, or in the place of, other posters. Thank you for your courtesy!

External Media Announcements

The Office of Integrated Marketing & Communication submits press releases to both local and church media on a regular basis. In general, a press release is 300-500 words in length and is written by Keri Suarez, media relations specialist, or a student writer. However, if you would prefer to write your own release, you may do so and submit it to IMC (pr@andrews.edu) for distribution. However, please note that IMC reserves the right to edit press releases as they see fit before releasing to the media. All news tips should be submitted to Keri Suarez at pr@andrews.edu.
