Connect Mozilla Thunderbird to AU Gmail

Unless there is a technical need to use Thunderbird, it is recommended that you use a web browser to take advantage of all the features provided by your AU Gmail account.

What are the IMAP settings to connect to my AU Gmail account?

Incoming Server (IMAP)	imap.gmail.com
Outgoing Server (SMTP)	smtp.gmail.com
Incoming Port (IMAP)	993 (SSL)
Outgoing Port (SMTP)	465 (SSL)

Mozilla Thunderbird

Enable IMAP in Gmail
From the Settings menu, select Options > Account Settings
Select Account Action > Add Mail Account...
Enter the following information:
- Your Name: your name
- Email Address: your Andrews email address
- Password: your Andrews password
Select Continue. Thunderbird will automatically find the server settings.
Select Done
