Fitness Expo
In a partnership between the Department of Nutrition and Wellness, Alumni Services and a healthy u, faculty and staff are invited to participate in an expo featuring different types of fitness activities and booths showcasing different fitness resources on campus. The event takes place at Johnson Gym on September 30, 2012. Participants should plan to spend at least 45 minutes at this event.
Points are given for attending and participating in this event as well as volunteering for the event.
Nutrition Cook-Off
Participants enter their favorite recipes to a panel of judges who then determine a number of finalists. Those finalists then prepare their dishes for the Nutriton Cook-Off on March 1st, 2013. At this event that is a mix between a pot-luck and a open house, faculty and staff are invited to attend and taste test each of the finalist dishes and vote on the one they like the most. A winner will then be determined in each category.
Points are awarded for those who submit recipes and also those who attend.
Nerf Olympics
Participants in this event are invited to engage in some friendly completion and lots of fun. Both team and individual competition will take place in games and events familiar from childhood. Balloon tosses, relay races and Nerf games will be featured at this event taking place in the summer of 2013.
Points are given for participating in the different activities and also for attending and showing support for others who are participating.
