"It was August 24, 2015 and the first day of my Architecture studies. As I walked into the front door of the Andrews Architecture building thoughts flooded my mind of how this new part of my life’s journey was going to be like. Will I enjoy the program? What will my professors be like? Will I fit in and make friends? Throughout the rest of my day all my doubts and worries were suppressed by the friendly smiles and greetings of the teachers, the interesting introductions of our classes and the excitement from my fellow classmates ready to start off the fall semester.
Fast forward to the present. It has been almost three years since I started that first early morning Introduction to Architecture class. The things I’ve learned, the memories I’ve made, the close friends that I can never replace, and the teachers that sat down with me and helped me through some difficult times, all have made an incredible impact in my life that will never be forgotten. I know and hope that many more students will be able to go through a similar experience, be able to make those memories, friendships, and most importantly learn all they possibly can."
