About Andrews University Graduate School

Welcome to the Graduate School of Andrews University. The faculty, staff, and students of the Community and International Development Program are pleased you want to connect with our Master of Science in Administration (MSA) degree. Here on the beautiful campus of Andrews University we can fulfill your dream of earning a master degree which could open new doors for you. As the professional market continues to demand higher knowledge and advanced degrees, graduate study is progressively a practical, sophisticated, and wise career move.

The Master of Science in Administration with a focus in Community and International Development has been especially designed to develop leaders who can help strengthen and expand outreach programs. This includes local community organizations such as churches, schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, community clinics, social service agencies, policy departments, government agencies, community orientated businesses and corporations, and international humanitarian agencies.

Our goal is to connect you with comprehensive instruction, active student-professor interaction, attention to research, and emphasis on the dimensions of administering projects in diverse environments-this will give you the understanding, application, and competitive edge you need to become a leader in your profession.

In addition to relevant course work, the MSA in Community and International Development offers:

International Exposure. Our national and international reputation attracts students from all parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and South America. In fact, Andrews University is consistently recognized by US News and World Report as one of the top ten campuses for international and ethnic diversity in the nation. Andrews is a place where students and faculty learn from each other and grow in their understanding and ability to work with other cultures and backgrounds. Most of our faculty members have either worked or lived outside the United States, and our alumni hold positions of responsibility in many countries around the world. This unique combination of students, alumni, and faculty has allowed us to develop a truly global network of business and management skills and scholarship.

Highly Qualified Faculty. Our faculty are as diverse in personality and nationality as they are in their expertise and they types of positions they've held. They enrich the classroom with their global knowledge and experiences, and they serve their students by keeping abreast of changes and progression within the professional world.

Individual Attention. MSA students get to know, and work closely with, real professors. This exposure enriches the learning process, as students are able—and encouraged—to relate and practice their ideas, aptitudes, and education in real and tangible ways.

Sustainable Education. For over a decade, Andrews University has received recognition as one of the top 250 universities in the United States in U.S. World News & Report's "Best American Colleges." We educate students to develop superior skills, understand current knowledge and practices, and have the abilities to learn and adapt after graduation.
